Conan is definitely taking baby steps when it comes to potty training. He still asks to be put on the potty every once in a while and he really wants to wear his new Cars pull ups. But he just hasn't figured out what he is supposed to do while sitting there. He prefers to sit on the big potty in the bathroom, which is fine. So I got him a potty seat with a splash guard for boys. So far he hasn't gone yet but he sits on there every single day.

It's funny. He loves to sit on the toilet but he just won't go. Sometimes he'll sit for ten minutes or more. I can always see a proud look on his face too. I guess I have to keep trying. I'm making him a potty training chart out of poster board, Velcro and paper stars. I think this might help. I'm also going to try something that I read on another blog.

I'm going to set the kitchen timer to go off every 15 minutes or so and put him on the potty every time it goes off. We'll see how this works.
