Vinegars are usually made from PETROLEUM and it is not required by law for manufacturers to to state how their vinegar is made on the label. You should know how your vinegar is made before preparing those summer salad dressings and marinades.

Heinz is committed to using only 100 percent all-natural ingredients in its Distilled White and Apple Cider Vinegars. Heinz vinegars are made from sun-ripened corn and fresh apples – never petroleum – with a label to back it up. Now you can serve your family salad dressings using vinegar made from all natural ingredients.

These delicious recipes from Heinz are sure to please your family this summer.

Oh wow! Thanks for the recipe. I have been thinking I want to start making my own vinaigrette dressing. Maybe a lot cheaper. Once again thanks!

How can you find out how vinegar is made. I actually use Heinz in the flavors they make, but there are other flavors they don't manufacture.

I use cheap vinegar for my laundry/cleaning uses... but this is something to keep in mind for sure when using for human consumption. Thanks for the post.

I agree vinegar works great for cleaning. I use it to clean my coffee pot and my wedding ring. But you need to be careful when making salad dressings out of it. Make sure that you use Heinz.
