The sun's ultraviolet rays can be just as damaging during the cooler months of fall and winter. As the holidays approach families once again begin planning vacations. When you travel with your children, especially the little ones make sure you have proper sun protection.

Baby Banz offers a wide selection of wonderful sun products from hats to their famous sunglasses. Protecting your child's eyes from the sunlight is equally important as protecting his delicate skin.

Here are a few tips to help keep your child safe from UV rays this holiday travel season.

  • Make sure you pack a sunscreen that blocks UVA and UVB rays. Apply sunscreen every time your child goes outside.
  • Put a sunhat on your child or baby. Sunhats like the cute ones from baby banz can offer extra protection for your child's face and eyes.
  • Always use sunglasses when going outside. During the winter months the sun's rays reflect off of the white snow and can cause damage to the eyes if left unprotected.
  • Cover up. If you suspect your child may develop a sunburn have a long sleeved shirt on hand to keep his arms and safe from the UV rays.
Follow these suggestions to keep your children safe from the damaging sun this holiday season.
