OK . . . I am writing way too much over at my blog, Granola Mom 4 God. In an attempt to not overwhelm my Feedburner friends, I am going to share my excitement with you all at Healthy Moms. I really think that with Christmas coming up that you might want to know about a creative gift I received.
Last week was rough. Mr. Smiley was SICK! But there was a very fun gift that I received from my sister that stands out as a bright spot. Look at what she made me Mr. Smiley!
Let me step back a little bit.
After having 3 kids, my diaper changing pad covers were shot. I think she noticed. I've blogged enough about my cloth diapering obsession and posted lots of pictures, that pretty much the entire world knows that the elastic is shot and there are
And look how the changing pad cover matches Mr. Smiley's diaper! Don't you just love it?
He is so happy laying on his cars. Seriously, whenever I change his diaper he has been delighted about it since the car fabric began providing entertainment. He makes car noises and typically smiles at the cars and says, "Hi!"
I think I also wanted to post this picture of him because this marks his first week of not nursing. He got a double ear infection and couldn't breathe out of his nose. For the first time nursing provided no comfort. He stopped requesting Mommy Milk after 17 months. Now he likes his fresh, raw cow milk.
I'm sad. One person is really happy about it. I'm not going to name any names, though.
Oh, if you are wondering about that cute Green Acre Design cloth diaper that matches the changing pad cover. . . it is one that Julie at Earth Angel Diapering Company gave me to review. She has this nifty little Try Me Kits that are risk free! And yes, I blogged about that package, too. Of course. But if someone you know is interested in cloth diapering Julie offers a really sweet deal. Please tell her that I sent you (that way I can get some new diapers!)
OK. I'll be quiet now. Thanks for listening to me tonight.
