I really want and need your help.  I strongly felt like God wanted me to make Katina’s Downey’s photography and the Heral’s story more widely known.  So . . . I did what I know best . . . I blogged about it on my blog and now I am bringing it to Healthy Moms.

We spend Christmas eve with my in-laws. We attend a candlelight service at church and then have dinner as a family. After dinner we usually sit around with a fire and watch a christmas movie.

When I was little we were always allowed to open just one gift on Christmas Eve. Then early to bed.

My husband and I spend Christmas together. We have a nice quiet lunch. Then we call the kids to see how they are doing.

A great story!

One night close to Christmas my guy and I will get some hot cocoa and then go for a walk in the neighborhood with the most outrageous light displays, making sure to stop under all the bunches of mistletoe!

Our Christmas Journal I started the first year we were married. Each year we write an entry about our Christmas! It's been 6 years and 2 children later now -it's fun to read back over! I can't imagine how fun it will be to read once we have grandkids!

My parents would wrap our gifts in white tissue and write out name on each one with silver glitter. It was magically and fun to see the shapes of your gifts with your names on them!

An important tradition we have is attending the children's mass at church. I feel it's important that it's aim toward my children while they are young. They get to participate at it which is wonderful. We then go home and open a present or two and read some Christmas stories.
