A Christmas message from our editor.
Seasons Greetings! I would like to thank all of you for your continued support of our site. We are very excited about the opportunities 2010 brings. Over the past year I have watched this blog grow from just a simple website with myself as it's lone writer and less than 100 subscribers to an interactive blog with talented contributing writers and over 500 subscribers. It is you, the readers that helped make this happen.
Thank you so much for helping us spread our message. Here at Healthy Moms we are concerned about the obesity epidemic in the United States and we believe that as parents we can make a difference in our children's lives and prevent it from getting worse.
It is our obligation to teach our children how to take care of themselves, physically, emotionally and spiritually and we should lead by example. This website is meant to be a resource for moms who are looking for information on how to improve themselves, better take care of their children and find ways to share their faith with others.
With your help over the past two years we have reached out to thousands of moms and I thank you for this.
From December 21- January 5, 2010 I will be visiting my family back in Wisconsin and will be off line. All comments and questions will be directed to Jodi from Granola Mom 4 God while I am away. I have also scheduled guest articles from experts and bloggers. Please visit us while I am away.
In 2010 we will continue to grow. Here's what to watch for in the upcoming year:
- More talented writers added to our staff
- Continued growth of our Ning network
- Video chat question and answer sessions with health experts on our Ning network
- Tons of cool and fun giveaways
- More great items added to the Healthy Moms store
