As a busy mom of five I understand how difficult it is to find time to exercise. Most of my fitness routine centers around housework and playing with my kids. Now that I have a new baby I am always on the lookout for new creative time saving workout routines for moms.
Before Camrin was born I was contacted by the two fabulous women behind Babybuilding 101, Joanne Amato and Shay Ryan and asked if I would be interested in looking at their DVD. Eager to lose my baby weight as soon as possible I jumped at the chance.
Shay is a mother of two and meteorologist from NY. When she realized that her biceps were becoming defined due to the movements she was making soothing her first baby to sleep she teamed up with personal fitness trainer, Joanne. Babybuilding 101 is 20 minute instructional DVD which outlines each of these workouts. They are all very simple to do and moms can perform each exercise in the comfort of their own home, while on the go or even if they are outside with their kids.
I tried a few of the exercises with Camrin and found them simple and rewarding. Joanne covers everything from squats, bicep curls, to lunges. The exercises are also very soothing for even the most colicky babies, like my Camrin. The best part about Babybuilding 101 is that the exercises can be performed anywhere or while doing every day tasks.
